Canada vs. West Indies u19

Canada fell short of drawing level in

the two match series against West

Indies u19 at Warner Park in St. Kitts

   today. Batting first, Canada's openers

   Hiral Patel (25) and Ruvindu

   Gunasekara (16) started positively

reaching 25-0 in the first 5 overs. From

   then on Canada's batsmen struggled

to get into a rhythm losing wickets at

   regular intervals. Darius D'Souza top

scored with 26 runs but there was little

support from the top order as Canada's

innings ended at 125 all out from 42

   overs.

In reply West Indies raced out of the

gate picking up 51 runs from the first

10  overs with 9 wickets in tact before

the rains came halting play. After the

delay  it was more of the same from

the West  Indies as they reached the

target in 26 overs for the loss of only 4

   wickets
